1st Hole

Number 1 can be a tricky tee shot - a driver hit well and straight will end up in the long left rough, too much muscle and you are out of bounds.  From the left, it’s  tough to reach the green safely with the two front greenside bunkers  and out of bounds behind. The best position from the tee requires a shot that hugs the right and carries 200 yards or so to clear the hump on the right edge of the fairway, a slight fade here would be quite handy. From there, 2 bunkers protect the green, so aim for the center unless you feel lucky. One other note: this green slopes  from the back.
